FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. My extruder will not start

- Check main power
- Check if the main power switch is on
- Check if the emergency button is pulled out
- Check if the lid is closed on top of the machine

2. My extruder is turning off all the time

- Dough is to wet
- Dough is to dry
- Dough is to old and hard in the matrix (die)
- Auger not correct built in

3. My extruder is making noises

- Check if V-belt is balanced and tight
- Check if bearings and gearbox has enough grease/oil
- Auger not correct built in
- Die holder nut on to tight

4. My extruder cannot cut the pasta

- Cutter knife is dull
- Spring for cutter is not mounted on
- Dough to wet
- No power to electrical cutter

5. My extruders matrix/dies are breaking

- Dough is to dry
- Used wrong flour
- Did not washed the matrix/die before using

6. What recipe should I use (doesn’t apply to all locations in the world)

- 6kg semolina and 1.8lt water for pasta
- 8kg semolina and 2.4lt water for pasta
- 6kg semolina and 1.9lt water for ravioli
- 8kg semolina and 2.5lt water for ravioli

7. My ravioli machine will not start

- Check main power
- Check if the main power switch is on
- Check if the emergency button is pulled out
- Check if the lids and doors are closed on the machine

8. My ravioli machine is turning off all the time

- Dough got stuck in stamp
- Plastic disc not correctly in the stuffing container
- Side door not correctly closed

9. My raviolis are not filled correctly

- Stuffing not air tide in container
- Regulator for stuffing not correctly adjusted
- Lever not working or not turned on
- Stuffing is to thick and sticky

10. My raviolis are not centered or not closed

- Dough to wet
- Dough to dry
- To much stuffing
